Replace Filters
The following will outline how to replace your filters. Filter status can be viewed in the Cloud app and replacements will be shipped based on your usage.
Cloud is unique because you DO NOT need to shut off the incoming water supply before changing filters. Keep your water supply running and follow these simple steps to swap those spent filters.
Lever Down
Pull the lever to the full “down” position. When the lever is in the correct position, pictured right, it will stay in place. In the down position, the lever shuts off the water supply and releases the Magazine so it can be removed.Remove Magazine
With the lever in the down position grab the white Magazine by the front grip and rear handle. Pull the Magazine off the Base. You may need to use a slight rocking motion to release the suction between the Magazine and Base. Pull the Magazine out from underneath your cabinet and place on a flat surface. The counter top or floor in front of your cabinet works well.Release Magazine Lid
Use the pinch action on the top of the lid to unlatch and remove the lid. Place to the side for now.Twist Filters
We will start with the sediment filter and work our way around clockwise until we reach the battery. Please note this can be done in any order, but moving clockwise frees up some hand space as we go. Twist the filter counter clockwise until the tick mark on the filter cartridge matches the end guideline marked on the top of the Magazine. Once the tick marks are aligned simply pull the cartridge up and out.It is important that you align the tick mark on the filter cap with the tick mark on the Magazine top. Aligning these correctly will make it easier when you are placing the new filters back in.
Remove Battery
Pull the battery pack straight up and out to remove. No need to twist the battery.Install New Cartridges
Let’s get the new filters in place. We will start with the sediment filter and make our way up and around. Line up the guideline on the side of the cartridge with the starting position guideline on the top of the Magazine. Gently lower the cartridge to the bottom of the Magazine. Start spinning the cartridge clockwise while applying downward pressure. You will feel the cartridge lock into place once you reach the end of the guide. Repeat this procedure for each filter.Drop The Battery Into Place
The battery DOES NOT twist. Simply drop down into place using the groove and key on the side of the battery pack as a guide.Confirm All Looks Good
Just work your way around and confirm each cartridge is fully screwed into the Magazine and firmly in place. They should not move up or down, and they should all be seated at the same height. Place the lid back on top and gently press down to click the lid into place.Seat Magazine
Place Lever In Down Position Confirm the lever is in the down position before seating the Magazine.Align Magazine
Lift Magazine using the handles on the front and top rear of the Magazine. Place the Magazine on the Base using the peg feet as an alignment guide.Seat Magazine
When the Magazine is in position on the Base, press down firmly on the top. Sometimes this can take a bit of pressure, so don’t be shy when pressing the Magazine down into place. You should feel the fittings on the Magazine suction into place when the Magazine is fully seated.Lift Lever
With the Magazine fully seated on the Base, lift the lever to lock it into place. The lever will sit flush against the side of the Magazine when in the up position. Once in the fully upright position an internal valve will open letting water back through the system.Don’t forget to flush! Just like when you first installed Cloud RO, you need to flush the system to clear out those new filters. Fill and purge the tank three times and you are ready to flow!
